About Us
Lee Ann Fox – Owner Hired by Bridge Computer Systems after college (Cal State, Fresno), I traveled the country implementing crop costing systems for large agricultural firms. (Growing up on a small farm in California’s San Joaquin Valley made this job the perfect fit). Bridge was a small firm then, so I was able to help design and implement accounting systems, write documentation and train end-users.
I have always enjoyed understanding the business processes and figuring out how to automate to increase efficiencies.
From Bridge Computers, I went to Platinum Software (ABM back then). As a systems analyst with Platinum, I started implementing back office financial software. Our company developed the first classroom training program and Platinum was eventually purchased by IBM. In conjunction with IBM, I worked with the Business Learning Center. We held demonstrations and training for mid-range businesses who were looking to automate. It was a beautiful new building in San Ramon with state of the art demonstration equipment. A wonderful opportunity!
Continuing to work part-time with Platinum and IBM, I went to work for Cubic Northwestern Data in San Francisco. As the senior system’s analyst at Cubic Corporation, I worked with American Express, The San Francisco Sprinkler Fitters Union and supported litigation software for some of the international law firms in San Francisco and Los Angeles. I was eventually responsible for designing software and teaching programs for clients along the entire U.S. West Coast.
I returned to work with Platinum and IBM and was able to work with some high visibility clients through my own consulting practice. Working with Steve Koss at The Oakland/Alameda Coliseum, we implemented a time clock interface; tracking employee and venue expenses to create “real-time” event costing. The solution was game changing for the industry and marketed to entertainment facilities throughout the U.S.
Also with Platinum and IBM, I was fortunate to work with many high profile clients such as Kraft Foods and their, then new, DI GIORNO® Pasta line. We also helped Dianne Feinstein and Richard Blum, The Concord Pavilion, BASS TicketMaster, The Oakland As, Fantasy Studios and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory – Superconducting Super Collider design phase, just to mention a few.
I am still in the San Francisco Bay Area on a regular basis working with clients like United HealthCare and Contra Costa ARC.
